Well, I've already packs my things and ready to go. Although been to the island for I don't know how many times already but still excited. I'm looking forward for Island hopping on the second day. We will go to Pulau Beras Basah as well as Pulau Dayang Bunting. Well, my dad say to go swimming in the tasik, well will see about that.

I still remember my first company trip is Langkawi and that also is the first time I took a ride in plane. We did stay in th same hotel though for this trip.

Well will update about the trip after coming back and hopefully it will be enjoyable one!

P/S: Yeah my choice won american Idol....wohooo

Adam vs. Kris

Again, like before I will recap on the American Idol finale for this season. My choice is one of the finale, no...not Adam Lambert, Kris Allen of course. He is like the underdog for this season, I never thought that he will go through till the end, actually. I also never thought Adam will be in the finale also. Again, I think my choice will be a second place, I guess, same like last year prediction. Adam has massive fans even from celebrities.

For me Kris can be a singer such as James Morrison and James Blunt, and I love both of them especailally James Morrison. You know, kind of folksy stuff while Adam more rocker screamy stuff such as Aerosmith and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. For today's show, a lot of celebrities coming to see them even Suri Cruise and her mother, Katie Holmes.

First sessions, both singing the songs of their choices from the season. Adam starts first singing "Mad World" from Tears for Fears(famoust song "Shout"). I like him wearing the long coat and the fog effect. It is ok and he did not over sang the song. Then Kris sang "Ain't no sunshine" by Bill Withers. Actually I'm not so hot for the song, I like when he sang "To make you feel my love" by Garth Brooks in Top 11 as that is when I though he is good. All judges love it even Simon said Kris won the firts session.

Then they need to sing song choice from the creator of the show Simon Fuller.  Adam sang "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke while Kris sang "What's going On" by Marvin Gaye. I think Adam doing a great job while Kris sing ok and really being true to himself. Well the judges love Adam.

third round, they sang song produced by one of the judges, Kara "No Boundaries". I don't think it is a great song. When Adam sing it, I thought this song is great for Adam's voice because the song have a lot high notes, but when he sang it like the words jumble out. For me so-so only. When Kris sang it, I like it but unfortunately he cannot sang the high not so greatly. I wish they they created two different songs that compatible with their voices.

Truthfully, I don't know who will win tomorrow. My prediction is Adam but of course I want Kris to win. Come to think of it, my choice will always be runner-up such as David Archuletta, Blake Lewis and of course Clay Aiken. So, we wait and see for tomorrowla!

Terengganu kite!

Well, what can I say, finally here is the update from my trip to Terengganu which is 3 days before my final Statistics paper. We went ther on Friday morning, stay one night and when to ka Pah's wedding at Dungun on the next day. Well it was an interesting trip indeed.

It started at 9.30am as again, kak Zubaidah is late. We're supposed to meet at Bangsar at 9am. Everybody quite worried whether I'm joining the trip or not as yesterday I was asked to go home as I had a fever which the doctor didn't give me an MC but still I was asked to go home. Dame the swine flu! Well, I just go home as instructed an sleep hehe.

So, around 9.45am our journey begin, five of us in green lime Myvi or should I say Myvious. Our first stop is at the Petronas station after Genting Sempah because we didn't have breakfast yet. Then the journey continue as we become lost after Kuantan to Cherating as kakAin was wondering why the sea at our left instead of our right side. It took us like 10 minutes to figure out that we actually on the opposite direction.

As expected, the queen of sleeping in the car, Shila manages to do her job although I give her credit that she didn't start to sleep after Cherating. Then we stop at Paka as we took picture of the "loji Petronas" where you can see the fire coming out from one of the "cerobong".

The scenery was great as you can see the coconut trees, beautiful villages and bluest sea I've ever seen. It was so calming to live there, I guess. We see a lot of stalls selling "keropok lekor" but we didn't manage to stop as we want to arrived to Kuala Terenganu fast.

When we arrived the first thing we do is to stop at "Masjid Terapung" and take pictures.  The mosque was beautiful and smaller than I thought it was.

Now it is time to find our apartment whicIh our landmark Inter Continental Hotel. It was not far than our apartment though. Well, the apartment waas not as we expected to be. It is quite scary as some windows can't be close safely. The apartment has 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. No towel or complementary soaps. Just simple apartment only.

It's time for dinner, which we actually don't know where to go. we went to Batu Burok beach as we thought there will be a lot of stalls or seafood restaurants there. Boy, how wrong are we as we can't find decent restaurant. We did found one which we need to wait for 40 minutes because of many people in the restaurant, fine then we want to order, suddenly the waiter said that there was no seafood just chicken and beef. Great, we travel all the way from Kl just to eat chicken and beef? well we did ask her any other restaurant near the beach, she said no..and after we get out from the place there was a restaurant right next to the previous restaurant but unfortunately for us no seafood either.

As we are becomes more hungry, we decided just to look around and there decents arcase stall, which I think quite similar to what we have in KL. So we decided to drive around until we found a signboard has a waterfront on it. We said what a heck just check out what  else is there.

Our luck suddenly change ad we see there is a decent restaurant there. At first we are afraid to go in as it looks quite expensive. Well, as long as we are here, we might as well go in. We cautiously order the small size meals and only the tom yam is the medium size.

The meals are worth the money we pay. I still can feel the taste of kerabu mangga which is soooo delicious. Although we ordered the small size meals but still we can't finish all of them so we made a pact as we won't move until we finished up whatever it is on the table. so it turns out that we are the last customers that come out from the restaurant. The waiters are waiting for us to get-out before they can clean-up...sorry.

The first day ends as I find it hard to open my eyes. Some, who had the energy take the opportunity to iron baju kurung for tomorrow wedding.

I was woken-up by annoying voice of Kak Zubaidah and our plan for the morning is to go to Pasar Payang. We arrived there around 8.30am and manages to get a parkinfg space but quite a walk to the pasar. the first thing we do is to have breakfast. I have nasi lemak with fish while kak Ain and Faiza had nasi dagang in the morning.

I do go quite crazy in the pasar which I admit because all the clothes are beautiful an feel likes want to buy all, and you can actually use credit card here. How crazy is that? Well, I can assure that I'm not swipe my credit card this time but I did manage to use all money with some clothes for raya and some expensive tudungs. But I have to give a respect to Kak Azubaidah and Kak Ain because they stayed in the tudung shop for almost 1 hours as me and Shila manage to "tawaf" the whole pasar like 2-3 times and they still the shops looking and arguing which tudung they would buy. I think the shop girl also quite tired with them but she has to put-uop as they are her biggest customers I would say.

Well, I guess we didn't think much where to put all the things that we bought in the car, so we utilize the space as we could. Lucky for Shila that she doesn't has to be tied up on the roof of the car.

On the way to Dungun, we manage to stop for "keropok lekor" well, I think that should close the deal for our trip to Terengganu. We arrived there around 2pm which the ceremony already end and the bride and group went to the beach for photo session.

Then I have to direct Linda who forgot to bring the invitation card and who wants to go alone with her boyfriend. Of course at the end we manage to meet the bride and the groom together. I think we manage to bring down the house as we speaks loudly like nobody business. At the end it is the time to say goodbye to Kak Pah and Terengganu.

Well all the way back to KL, Shila is sleeping soundly even she bought Nescafe at 7-11 so that she won't sleep but it is not working at all.

I would say that this is one of trip that I will remember forever. Looking back I did not regret the trip although supposedly I should study. That is one of the far places I go for a wedding and hope to go there again.  Now, it is time to find out which place should I go nest for cuti-cuti Malaysia.

Kejap ada .....

Kejap habis...

At the beach near the mosque

        Telur penyu...kesian penyu...

Keropok...nyum-nyum

                Me and the bride

Well, they all fit inside myvious!

Today's paper

Well, what can I say about today's Macroeconomy paper? I'm glad I know most of the answer but still got confusion there. My health condition does no help either as I have a slight migraine and "bersin" for the whole 3 hours.

Well, since I can't study during weekends as I'm working and karaoke night doesn't help either. Well now need to prepare for two more papers where I only can study on Sunday because I'm going to attend Pah's wedding in Terengganu.

Well I'm quite excited about the trip as I can go shopping at Payang Market. The clothes there are beautiful and just want to get ready for Raya.

Well, I try to study during this trip, if I can!

Pasar Payang, here I come!

Talent or not? That is the question...

Susan Boyle

I've just watch Susan Boyle's youtube video from Britain's Got Talent show. Wow seriously she can sing and it was a beautiful voice. So far around 100 million people already watch the video and now she is an instant celebrity.

Seriously looking at her appearance you will never thought that she can sing amazingly That show talents come in many different faces and physical. I know a friend who has a little bit of weight but can play sepak takraw and still can do the split on the air, seriously.

What is my hidden talent? So far I can't quite figure out yet, but let me tell you what I can't do:s

1. I can't draw - art and engineering drawing. The highest score for my art is C+. We need to draw "Gotong-royong di sekolah" and I drew this guy stiffly holding a broom and looking at the audience wearing hat. One of my friend commented that is one of the best picture I ever produce. Meaning that I never draw something pretty before. I took Engineering technical drawing in Form 4 & Form 5, I have no choice actually, whether you take engineering subject or accountancy and biology, of course i don't want to surgery with frog. During SPM I lost hope for the subject, and I though whatever happen, happen but thank god that I passed the subject.

2. I can't see 3-D picture - for some reason I'm not able to see 3-d pictures. One of my friends used to have a 3-D book and everybody take turn to borrow the book. When it it is my turn, I can't see a thing, they said there is a pirate ship and all I can see is the pattern. I tried everything like put the book right in front of my eyes and slowly bring it away from my face, not working. Open my eyes as big as I can, na'ah..so I just give-up. I still occasionally try to figure out on how to see the hidden picture still not avail, any tips anyone?

That are some of things that I can't do. I think I'm a average cook, I can cook spaghetti start from scratch not the sous comes from the can. I mean I can start from the minced meat to do the source with the tomatoes. I like to try new recipes but the problem is I'm lazy to cook as it cost more and take sometime too do it than just tapau from the gerai.

I'm good with the machine, paper stuck in the copy machines, both I'm the man, I mean the girl. Anything about Excel, I can do the most of the formulas. I'm an avid map reader. If you are looking for a team mate for Amazing Race, call me plus I can drive manual. But don't ask me how to go back to the previous place as I can arrive the new place based on the printed Google map but sometimes I lost on the way
back from the place. Last time, I went to visit centre in Klang and on the way back I lost and almost reach West Port, I thought there will be a U-turn as I go along but noooo. I only one stop away reaching to the seaside.

I do sing in karaoke as with my student card, I do have to pay less than normal charges. Yes, I'm abusing my student card although I'm not a very good student as my exam is less than 6 days away but I'm happily writing my blog. I should stop now.

Bye bye Grissom

Last night, finally in CSI he annouced that he is leaving. I was so shock. I mean I knew he is leaving the show but still…I found it’s hard to believe. This is one of the only show that I never missed a single episode and still exciting after 9 seasons. Last time, I do watch Lost but seriously I’m kind of lost already. Heroes? well becomes zero to me so I just waited for the marathon and watched them in one day. Although I do watch other 2 CSI but so far the original one is the best. Gil Grissom is my favourite character as well as Greg Sanders.

He is the kind of boss that you’re looking for. He has a lot of wisdom, kind of funny and he is kind of mentor to both Greg and Hodges. He is very serious with his work that make him “politically deaf” as he doesn’t care to suck-up to others and just do his own work. He makes working with corpse and bugs seems so cool. If I don’t have a phobia on blood, I bet I want to become a forensic expert like him.

Of course my favourite episodes featuring the miniature killer, which is chilling and you can’t wait to know who is the miniature killer is. His favourite quote is “dead can’t speak for themselves”. I also like his relationship with Sara Sidle. I think they look cute together. He likes to ride rollercoaster (like I am, after being force, of course) and sensitive if the victim is children or teenagers

I can’t wait to see him for the last time next week. But I guess he leaving the show while he was on top to rekindle with Sara. Boy, I’m sure going to miss his witty sense and his bug knnowledge. So, bye Gil Grissom…hope to see you as guest star in CSI again.

Feel like kicking my a**

It started on Saturday morning, a day before my last class for this semester. I already my law assignment, just waited to be printed. I'm quite happy with it as I though I've done the best that I can.  So now what I have to do is to print out Macro home test that my instructor just send out by e-mail at 12am and to do Macro assignment.  So, I wondering where do I have to go to pringt both assignmnet and home test? At first I went out to buy my lunch at Bangsar's McDonald. I try to look around there wondering would there a be a printing shop or something but failed. I should have known better as that area is a "bangsar kaya" area not like my place"bangsar mioskin" where you can get a burger for RM 1.50 (used to be RM1) at pasar malam. Of course most people there and laptop and computer with printer. If there "kurang kaya" there will go to Starbucks, buy a cup or two of lattes and use the free wifi. So i thought I just try again at my place. Luckily or( unlucky) for me there's a digital image shop near the 7E that I can print them but it will cost me RM 1 per sheet and mind you it is black and white printing. I though what a heck, I desperate already.

Unfortunately she can only print the home test as the law assignment I forgot to save in Microsoft Word format. Yes, I used a free software, Open Office as a substitute for microsoft office which i think is very useful and free as to install microsoft office home addition I need to fork-up more money which is I have a little right now. So I thought I will come back around 6pm to print it again.

I went home eat my lunch and busy working with the home test. After a little break, I stop for a while for Hannah Montana. I know what everybody think but seriously the girl can act and the show is very funny. Then I taught I want to continue to do the test and just print the assignment after 6.30pm as I thought the shop usually close at 8pam or something. Imagine to my surpise when the shop closed already and it is only 6.45pm. Where the heck I have to go know. Two choices, Midvalley or KL Sentral. Well I don't want to drive to Midvalley looking for parking and pay RM 3 just to print 2 sheets of paper, so I thought better to go to KL Sentral.

Well, lucky for me, in KL Sentral there is a shop that we can print document and it only cost RM 0.40 per sheet for black and white printing. Then after that, the rain  start to pouring down and I was stuck in KL Sentral. I just mad at my self for not driving as I went there by train. I still haven't complete the home test, assignment and read for the law test tomorrow. So what do I do? Having my dinner day and praying the rain will stop soon as If I just go through the rain, my law assignment will be wet.

The rain stop, finally and come back at home around 8.30pm. I decided to skip the macro assignment as I do have 3 hours in afternoon before the class started. Then I stated to read the law book which occasionally my eyes went to tv wathing Saturday Night Live. The show is funny. Well I though maybe the whole class will plead for the instructor to have open book test, so I just stop and go to sleep.

First class, Law. I found out actually I 've a wrong question and immediately try to do 5 minuted before the class. When the lecturer when in, I went to her to address her my problem and she just look my two pieces of assignment and start to blabbering how some people (meaning me) didn't listen what she has saying in the class. She shows my assignment as "what not to do during the final exam". Some of my classmate actually do the 2 questions assigment in 10 pages front and back with the colourful cover and binds. Then it hit me, what was I thinking, I wasn't thinking as student at all, I'm thinking as a working adult. During my student year last time I did do my assignment my coulourful printing cover and binding. I guess I just forgot. Actually while she is blabbering I was standing in front and actually I didn't feel shame at all, I feel relief that I know this before final exam, imagine if I did the answer during that time?

Then we have a quiz and a test which is without open book. Great, I've said. I'm screwed!. Actually, I can't think anymore as I fell like really want to kick myself for the assignment. Test is one question with 100 marks and Quizzes with 5 questions, 10 marks per question.
After 15 minues watching all the students staring at the questions with blank espression, she said that we can open the text book. Me looking at the questions again doing the mistakes by answering the quiz and being thought the lesson just now, so I elaborate  the answer as long as I can with the example of cases and only manage to aanswer 2 questions only while for the 100 marks question I only manage to answer I think around 10% only as I miscalculated the time given.

Seriously, I can't imagine what is my carried mark for law, if I can get 20 marks I willl be happy already although I need to study super extra hard for my final. I really feel that I need to score in law paper as a revenge. Then finally, the lecturer gives me a second chance to do the assignment but need to send on that day. Still during my Statistics class I can't really concentrate as I can't let go wht just happen. I knew I could do better in the test and Quiz.

As fo Macro assignment, still I can't completed for one page as I under underestimate the number of questions. Finally, I submitted without the last page as the class started already the lecturer asking for it already.

On Sunday night, I stayed up to 2am doing the assignment as I was like copying the text books with all the cases and and it is quite hard as I already sleepy. Finally manage to e-mail the assignment after 2.30am and I do thing the laptop and broadband that I've got on tha week are the blessing from god. I don't know what to do if I don't own them.

I know it is quite long but I think the moral of the story is stop lagging the works. All the assignments was given like two weeks ago and I just thought I can do all of them in 2 days. One of my resolution this year is to get dean list as I never been one. I did almost get last time during my student year, so I really need to study hard for the 3 papers. This is one of part of my life that I can control na do domething about it. So wish me luck and especially will power as I really need both of them.

My trip to KK

Well, it has been so long since I updated my blog. Why? Maybe because I'm quite busy nowadays since I better write reports than updating blogs if you know what I mean.

So I've been offered to travel to KK to support new centre, well, at first I quite hesitate as I'm really don't want to give PO to public as I'm quite shy or I would say, "pemalu orangnya" but since this is the only state I've in Malaysia I've never been, I'm thinking what the heck.

Since I'm going alone, I though it would be a great adventures, nevertheless it is. I arrived at KK airport around 10pm and waiting for my luggage for almost 20 minutes. I'm quite worried as it is quite late and I'm a girl and alone. The CSI effect comes to me.

The taxi driver was driving very fast. Seriously, he never stop at the roundabout to peek or something just go through like nobody business. I'm glad I get to the hotel safely.

My hotel situated near the shopping mall and the room is soooooo cold, seriously. It is 22 celcious and it is still cold like in the freezer. My hands felt almost numb as I keep playing solitire on the company laptop which somehow can't connect to the internet.

The staff there quite sweet trying to figure out what is wrong with the connection. He tried to change the network wire, plug-in and plug-out and even take off the connection plug out of the wall and inspected. They never suspect that actually it is the laptop problem which is really frustrating.

I didn't manage to anywhere except to work as I don't know where to go. I did go around the shopping mall, and I would say it is more standard than midvalley and a little bit lower class than The Garden. They do have a free bus to the town and when I tried to register, it is full already. Luckily, because that afternoon it was raining like cats and dogs and for sure I unable to comeback to hotel before going to work.

Overall, it was quite interesting journey. I manage to buy some brooches for my sister, my umi and myself at Pasar Filipino.  The crystal there is quite cheap and I wasn't thinking when I purchased the things because they all beautiful although when I get there, no electricity at that place. But it is ok, so I know which crystal that bling the most without the help from the lamp.

I would definetely comes here again to go around town and snorkeling at Sipadan Island. Just need to find a right time and right partner as nowadays everybody save their money for weddinglah or too busy datinglah and all sort of excuse they can thing of.

So, I guess I will updating my blog frequently as I already purchased a new laptop with celcom broadband. I think it is a need as I'm a student now and I can't rely for office to do my assigment (which I never did, honestly).

My laptop
My laptop

So, keep on blogging.

P/S: I was quite sad that one of my favourite AI, Megan contestant was out today. She is sooo beautiful and quite unique.

My life as a student

Well let face it, in life we will never stop to learn. Academically or not it continues until we die.
I already started my first degree class on 11 January. I’m still not bonding with my other classmates yet but I think slowly I will. It is great to meet such a middle group of people who wanted to do more for them. Most of my classmates are government worker. Only some work in private sector. For this semester I took 3 subjects with 9 credits. Quite ok I guess but one of the subjects, QMT deals with statistics, it still hard to grab the concept but it is one of my resolutions to get the dean list for my degree. So you will see that I will strive hard for it becomes this study is my choice, I want to do it and it is depends on me, not anybody else. I’m sure I can myself proud. Yay ME!

After that the learning still continues for the whole week with our company project. My company invited the staff from Japan to lecture us about what is my company is all about. In the morning we have briefing, seminars, review and in the afternoon we have centre visit. As my centre is the first centre to be visited, I really don’t know what to expect. I would say it was a little bit disorganized and chaotic with 30 people zooming their cameras on 3 students. Then the next day I was very nervous and try to brave myself, seriously I don’t know what to expect and just try to do the best that I can. When the day progress, you can see that the centre visit becomes more organized and a lot of people understand what they should do know. It was a very tiring week and each morning I prayed that the week will end soon. Is not that I hate it, I do learn a lot during the week and I mean it is for my own good, it just like too much information too handle in a week and I think my brain becomes overload already. But the learning will still continues until May so now I’m I just to face it with open heart and open mind.
