GO GO SALES CRAZY ONLINE!

Ok, I want to take a break from Turkey update for a minute. So please bear with me. So, it is end of the year and of course there are a lot of sales coming up, YES, Branded sales and anything under the sun. No women can ever deny the pleasure of shopping brings to them as women can never have too many fashion items. As women will never feel they have enough clothes, shoes or accessories even though they have a full closet of them. From apparels, shoes, handbags, accessories or beauty products, women will always find a way to splurge every month for their desired items. I admit, I’m one of the women. It can be frustrating to shop if you have to stick to a budget every time you get your salary or allowance money. Women do not have to fret any longer as retail brands and malls are always organizing sale promotions based on holidays for their customers to enjoy. Season sales are always a fun event for women who can never get enough of shopping new fashion items in their closet. Women can now have the luxury time of spending their hard earn money on items with affordable prices.

Sadly shopping through crowded malls and finding a parking space may be irritating to deal during your day offs. I mean, you have to go round and round or wait at the side for someone to go out. Then, you have to push through people on sales and getting shoved by makcik, (yeah this usually happen in SOGO) may turn you mood into a bad one. So, what other alternative to shop freely? You can go shopping online. One of the famous website, such as ZALORA has offers sales up to discount price for their fashionable lady customers to enjoy. Women can browse through their online shopping site with ease and comfort without ever wasting their energy. ZALORA special price sales will definitely make women feel the worth of every penny spent and be confident with their speedy delivery. So happy shopping, girls!

ZALORA is one of the leading shopping sites in Malaysia which constantly provides promotions and discounted price of their fashion products. Women can do their online shopping at home or even the office and have their items delivered straight to their doorstep. Chase the sales and never miss the special opportunity by shopping online at ZALORA.

I just have my graduation day last Monday and it was the best day of my life. So now, I have nothing to do and still I just get lazy. It seems like I wanted to coupe all the lost time and trying to do things that I like such as meeting friends and just hanging out in the room.

So, I try to reply any questions and comments in the blog and seriously reading those active bloggers makes me wonder, they must have great passion and I wish I will get the bug soon.

So, I will try my best to update my blog, but since I'm not going anywhere soon, so you might read the update of my boring life and some reviews of things I have watched recently. So bear with me.

Thank you for supporting my blog, and I will shall return soon with new layout and make-over. I thingk it is time to change? Don't you think so?

How to save up money for travel?

So, what's up? So is the first month of 2014? It almost end and still I only can catch my breath just starting this week. So, I got a new phone, samsung galaxy note 3 gold rose white and I love it. So enough about me but what I want to talk about is on how to save up money to travel. Seriously, I am puzzle how come people can go travel over and over again, even up to 5 different places in a year. My assumptions would be their salaries are a lot or they just starving themselves to travel. Well, I can't do both, I mean my salary, well I can't complain much but it is worth my job and I love to eat...yeah.

So how come they can travel like nobody cares, so I search out for some tips from blogs, websites and just like to share it with you. So here are my findings:

1. Change lifestyle - Change for the better, cut loose unnecessary spending. For myself, if I look closely, I do spend a lot on food and window shopping. I love to dine in the mall, and sometimes watch movies. I swear I didn't do a lot of shopping, I just go for groceries or toiletries but sometimes, when you do it during weekends, so it add up especially extra cost for parkings and knick knacks. I also like to have manicure&pedicure So I just need to find another alternatives to have fun with less budget.

2. Get part-time job - To get the extra income.. Hmmm I think I can work part time on weekends, but sometimes I need to work on weekends also so, still figuring out.

3. Meet new friends and get together with old friends- Yeah, I know it is kind of sneaky, to be friendly for a place to stay but it works. However, you also must do the same to them, it just like CouchSurfing method. Believe it or not, an of my cheapskate friend do this when he was travelling to Australia for a week. He stays with his friends and he just spend total RM 800 for the trip...seriously...he is cheap...

4. Start a savings account strictly for travel expenses - Set a goal plan and pledge not to touch it until you start traveling. The savings plan details how you’ll accomplish your goals. This could be removing unnecessary expenses and  setting a strict spending budget or adding additional income to meet your goals.

5. Really save money - Cut cost of everything such as caffeine, bring lunch to work or sell your clothes or magazine. You also can borrow books from library or buy groceries using coupon and subscribe to Groupon deals or something. Save spare change in a jar and find good deals online. I think I can do this, Yeah I have to be thrift now.

So,  first and foremost. just remember why you’re doing this and to remind yourself every day. Put a picture on your wall, or a map with pins and strings, or your rally monkey, for constant revalidation. Saving money is a slog, but you can do it if you set your mind to it. All the best to me!

Symptoms of Wanderlust and how to cure it...

What is wanderlust?

Wanderlust (also known as ‘itchy feet’) is a mental state of desperately wanting to travel. It has been described as similar to needing to pee, but there is no toilet nearby and the pee feels like it’s going to burst out of you.

What causes wanderlust?

There are many triggers that can lead to wanderlust, however, extended periods of working and not having sufficient funds to go travelling are common causes. Some sufferers have reported that short breaks can increase the intensity of wanderlust symptoms while other experience wanderlust most when reading the National Geographic magazine.

What are the symptoms of wanderlust?

Mild symptoms of wanderlust include:

  • Researching travel destinations and what to do there extensively
  • Learning a language for fun
  • Subscribing to travel blogs and living through the travel bloggers eyes
  • Watching the conversion rates drop and rise on a daily basis

More severe symptoms of wanderlust include:

  • Feeling down when looking at holiday photos posted on Facebook
  • Frequently rethinking careers, hoping to find a job that can makes long term travel financially viable
  • Playing more games to keep mind off travel
  • Reading more books to keep mind off travel
  • Frantically saving money and budgeting everything
  • Frequently checking Groupon getaways
  • Vivid dreams and feeling disappointed when you wake up
  • Feeling down about your current life

What is the treatment for wanderlust?
Once you’you've caught the travel bug, you are infected for life. The only way to treat wanderlust is to relieve the symptoms when wanderlust is really really bad.
The best treatment for wanderlust is a 4-8 week course of travel.
Moving to a country where there is a better life work balance.
If this is not possible then you can:
  • Talk to other travellers who have the wanderlust-moaning and making plans that fall through can help you to feel like you’re doing something small to realise your travel dreams.
  • Find an employer that tolerates sabbaticals.
  • Find more streams of income to support your travel habits.
  • Avoid inspiring photographs, travel stories and good flight deals as they can irritate the wanderlust.

Extreme wanderlust if untreated can cause the death, of the soul. You may also start to lose any curiosity for the world and all the cultures in it and only care about what’s on the telly. Treat it in its early stages where possible.
P/s: I think I have most of the symptoms...yep need to find cure fast...

In the basement pit...

Ok, I learn about the term from "How I Met Your Mother" which is one of my favourite shows. It is about an idea of putting your enemy in the basement pit, the one that you hate down to inside the pit as we torment them  in "Silence of the Lambs" style. Yes, I watched "Silence of the Lambs" when I was little. I just want to know what the hoopla all about. Ok, back to the show, for Ted, it was his Professor Vinick (Peter Gallagher), who proclaimed he will never become an Architect. For Lily and Marshal, it was Wesleyan classmate Creepy Daryl, who has taken to semi stalking them for the last decade. For Robin, it was of course Patrice, for being herself.

I like the one with Ted where the professor said to him that he will never become an architect. So when the GNB that he designed is going to open soon and he sent the professor the invitation card, until the professor rejected the invitation and that get him obsessed and drove back to his old university just to confront the professor. He bought the model of his building to show to the professor but still the professor rejected him. Talking about demotivation. Even Ted is a one of the youngest architect to build a skyscraper in New York but still he needs validation from his old professor. I guess we have someone in our lives that we need to get validation and obsess how is their life. With Facebook, it makes it easier for us to stalk our "enemies"

Of course I have someone that I would like to throw them in pit and to get validation from them but I won't tell who are they. But I'm not sure if somebody would throw me down the pit, because I kind of nice girl haha. But overall, the the idea of the episode is the idea of letting go though. Letting go of those negative thoughts for no reason for as Ted puts it "You can spend a lot of time making a pit for someone in your mind, but the only person in the pit is yourself." By the time we are reaching the end of our young adult lives, we've accumulated a fair amount of relationships. Some of those relationships may be good, and some may be less than good, but in the end, these relationships are what shape who we are. It's when we let those negative relationships define our goals, our goals are no longer our focus. Well said Ted!

The "BE" Attitudes

Be understanding to your enemies.

Be loyal to your friends.

Be strong enough to face the world each day.

Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.

Be generous to those who need your help.

Be frugal with that you need yourself.

Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.

Be foolish enough to believe in miracles.

Be willing to share your joys.

Be willing to share the sorrows of others.

Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.

Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.

Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.

Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.

Be sure where your next step will fall, so that you will not tumble.

Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.

Be loving to those who love you.

Be loving to those who do not love you; they may change.

Above all, be yourself.

Sacrifices....

I'm hope I'm not too late to wish everyone Happy Eid-al Adha. Eid al-Adha  also called Feast of the Sacrifice, is an important 4-day religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to honour the willingness of the prophet ʾIbrāhīm to sacrifice his young first-born son Ismā'īl  as an act of submission to God's command and his son's acceptance to being sacrificed, before God intervened to provide Abraham with a ram to sacrifice instead. In the period around Eid al-Adha, many Muslims travel to Mecca and the surrounding area in Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. Muslims may plan and save for many years to enable them to take part in this event, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. In Malaysia, we can save our money in Tabung Haji, which is Malaysian hajj pilgrims fund board.  Tabung Haji facilitates savings for the pilgrimage to Makkah through investment in Shariah-compliant vehicles.

This celebration remind me of sacrifice that would not only happen between man and Allah, there are a lot of sacrifices that man do for each other.

Parents sacrifices their relaxing time to coach their children for home work, Children sacrifices their money to  get their parents to perform haj, or even lovers sacrifice their everything to make each other happy.

Sacrifices sometimes can be willingly or with a heavy heart, sometimes for good sakes and sometimes will take a toll on someone's life. I sacrifice my Sunday once in a month to study to get my degree and I will sacrifice my money to get good foods and be able to travel. I will sacrifice anything for my family.

Sacrifice it just something that we do in our life just how much you are willing and able to do it, is another question. Again, wish you all "Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha" and may all the joys of life showered on you.

Ramadan - Month of Fasting

Today is the first day of Ramadan, so it means the first day to fast. Although I've been fasting fully since I was 10 but still, the first week of the month quite though. It is not only about not eating and drink from 5.45am to 7.30pm, but also to wake up around 4.45am for sahur and to practice patience and grace as fasting without practicing the good values of Muslim is not worth it. But as the time pass by I able to adapt it well for the rest of the month.

Ramadan is a month of obligatory daily fasting in Islam is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. Daily fasts begin at dawn and end with sunset. Special nightly prayers called, Taraweeh prayers are held. The entire Quran is recited in these prayers in Mosques all around the world. This month provides an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God.

In health perspective, a study carried out by scientists in the United States found that the mental focus achieved during Ramadan increases the level of brain-derived neurotrophic factor, which causes the body to produce more brain cells, thus improving brain function. Likewise, a distinct reduction in the amount of the hormone cortisol, produced by the adrenal gland, means that stress levels are greatly reduced both during and after Ramadan.

A team of cardiologists in the UAE found that people observing Ramadan enjoy a positive effect on their lipid profile, which means there is a reduction of cholesterol in the blood. Low cholesterol increases cardiovascular health, greatly reducing the risk of suffering from heart disease, a heart attack, or a stroke. What’s more, if you follow a healthy diet after Ramadan, this newly lowered cholesterol level should be easy to maintain. One of the main problems with extreme fad diets is that any weight lost is often quickly put back on, sometimes even with a little added extra. This isn’t the case with Ramadan. The reduction in food consumed throughout fasting causes your stomach to gradually shrink, meaning you’ll need to eat less food to feel full. If you want to get into the habit of healthy eating then Ramadan is a great time to start. When it’s finished your appetite will be lower than it was before, and you’ll be far less likely to overindulge with your eating.

As well as being great for spiritually cleansing yourself, Ramadan acts as a fantastic detox for your body. By not eating or drinking throughout the day your body will be offered the rare chance to detoxify your digestive system throughout the month. When your body starts eating into fat reserves to create energy, it will also burn away any harmful toxins that might be present in fat deposits. This body cleanse will leave a healthy blank slate behind, and is the perfect stepping stone to a consistently healthy lifestyle.

By not eating throughout the day during Ramadan you’ll find that your metabolism becomes more efficient, meaning the amount of nutrients you absorb from food improves. This is because of an increase in a hormone called adiponectin, which is produced by a combination of fasting and eating late at night, and allows your muscles to absorb more nutrients. This will lead to health benefits all around the body, as various areas are able to better absorb and make use of the nutrients they need to function

In Malaysia, Ramadan is celebrate and becomes a festival of food. In the evening, there will be a lot of Bazaar Ramadan selling all kind of foods and sometimes I can't choose and can't figure out what to eat to break the fast. Most of women will take this opportunity to diet, (less eating) and will gain it back during the 3 days after Ramadan. Ok, maybe that just me!

So, just want to wish Happy Ramadan to hope Allah will gives us patience and peace in this Holy Month!

Social Vocab 101 - Part 2

Well, I promised you part so here it is....

Swagger - the way one carries their self. Like how they walk or behave in a very confident and typically arrogant or aggressive way: "he swaggered along the corridor". Perhaps the video above might explain a little bit about swagger. I learn the word from it, stumbled when searching for The X Factor 10 (One Direction)

Friendzone - A metaphorical place that two people are in when there is no possibility of romance between them. It is like having all the responsibilities of a boyfriend with none of the benefits.

Mike had a crush on Kelly for years, but being in the friend zone prevented him from getting anywhere with her.

In verb mean to inform another person that they're such a good friend that there is no possibility of romance.

She friend zoned me.

Get to know the word from MTV's Friendzone

Fit - British slang for a person who's incredibly attractive without necessarily being "fit", as in healthy and/or muscular. Unknown to US culture who say "Hot" rather than "fit"

Omg!! That dude is soooo fit!

Got to know the word from this video. It is so sweet and cute and they really can dance. Wait until the end of the video.

Google tic - The uncontrollable urge to conduct a Google search on any and every question, thought, concept, word or name that comes to mind, including new acquaintances, products and companies.

You haven't Googled him, but you went out with him?! I could never get in someone's car without Googling their name, but then again, I have a Google tic.

Well it is me, I google everything, everything!

Instagram - Every hipster's favorite way to make it look like they take really classy pictures when really they are still using their phones. Yeah, you might look really cute/old school/vintage/retro, but it's still a cell phone picture.

Photographer: Hey man, look at this picture I took with my Canon 5D Mark II camera and edited in photoshop!
Hipster: No way man, look at this picture that I took on my phone with instagram! It's even better!
Photgrapher: *FACEPALM*

Just learn about Instagram last week. It is still new for me though.

iPause - 1. The period of time between when the light turns green and the driver in the front of the line of cars looks up from his iPod or iPhone and pulls away from the light. This is usually preceded by the person behind them honking their horn.
            2. Verb- The act of having to pause ones portable music player to enable them to hear what another is saying to them.

Derek- "So, mike was trying to talk to me while I had my headphones in."
Justin- "Oh, thats the worst."
Derek- "Yeah, I had to iPause... I was pissed."
Justin- "Yeah, I bet... I hate when someone interrupts my music!

Well, for my case it is looking at Google (again) map during traffic stop and before toll. But I can't find the slang yet.

toiletgirl - a girl a guy just uses for sex when he can't find any girls he's actually interested in dating. She usually doesn't realize she's a 'toilet girl' and often has a crush on him and truly believes he's into her when in fact he is not.- she's a 'toilet girl' because he is just using her to ejaculate into like a toilet.

A: Wow! Is Andy finally dating someone?
B: No, that's just another one of his toilet girls. He'll move on when he finds someone he really likes.

Harry Styles make a trend for it in his twitter. The rest is history.

Social Vocab 101 - Part 1

I've been busy, mostly with my study and getting to know myself. I really found out about me that I never realized before this week and I'm getting to overcome it. Hope my dreams come true.

Well, since I've joined the world of twitter, first reason is to get to know traffic from @plustrafik and @kltrafficupdate, then come One Direction, of course to stalk them (why don't they reply my tweets ಠ_ಠ). I also got three followers. Who knows, right?

So I found out there's a lot of words that youngsters nowadays spoken of and some I'm sure what they mean, so for those who are the same boat as me, I introduce you Social Vocab 101. Here is the list of the words:

Fangirling: . 1. the reaction a fangirl has to any mention or sighting of the object of her "affection". These reactions include shortness of breath, fainting, highpitched noises, shaking, fierce head shaking as if in the midst of a seizure, wet panties, endless blog posts, etc.

Obviously, if you read my post about One Direction, I do mentioned this word. Well, remember the day of BSB and NSYNC for me Westlife, we bought the Galaxie magazine for the posters, Smash Hits for the gossips and searching the net for the best wallpaper for your desktop? That is all fangirling all about. Last time during my school year, we are listening to "Pilihan Bersama" on Radio Muzik and turn it out loud when KRU songs were playing. It apply to all generations from The Beatles to K-Pop. So, it will never go away.

Directioner: No, it is not a person who gives direction. It is bigger than that. IT IS someone who stands by the band One Direction no matter what. Who would be there to support the boys 100%. Whether it's acting, singing, dancing, anything... they'll be there for it all. Even when the band grows up and goes on with their lives, these girls that call themselves "directioners" will NEVER forget the happiness and the joy that Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik brought to them for so many years!
"Directioners have to stick together!"  "They call us.. Directioners."

Only Directioners understand what they are talking about for example Carrot, No, Jimmy protested!, Get out of my kitchen, Vas happening, Kevin and sadly I knew everything about those words. Yes, I'm a Directioner!

#Hashtag: If you have been on Twitter, you may have seen a "hashtag." To put it simply, a hash tag is simply a way for people to search for tweets that have a common topic and to begin a conversation. For example, if you search on #LOST (or #Lost or #lost, because it's not case-sensitive), you'll get a list of tweets related to the TV show. What you won't get are tweets that say "I lost my wallet yesterday" because "lost" isn't preceded by the hash tag.
Well, I just learn this in twitter but never use it. Please don't put #hashtag in Facebook. It doesn't work that way.

Trending Topics: A word, phrase or topic that is tagged at a greater rate than other tags is said to be a trending topic. Trending topics become popular either through a concerted effort by users or because of an event that prompts people to talk about one specific topic. These topics help Twitter and their users to understand what is happening in the world.

Trending topics are sometimes the result of concerted efforts by fans of certain celebrities or cultural phenomena, particularly Lady Gaga (known as Monsters), Justin Bieber (Beliebers) and the Twilight and Harry Potter novels. Twitter have altered the trend algorithm in the past to prevent manipulation of this type.

Twitter's March 30, 2010 blog post announced that the hottest Twitter trending topics will scroll across the Twitter homepage.Users will also be able to find out how a specific topic became a trending topic.
What is the trending topics as of now?

tumblr(www.tumblr.com/) : Tumblelogs are miniblogs — a fast way to share links, photos, and videos without the bells and whistles of a regular blog. Unlike blogs, tumblelogs are frequently used to share the author's creations, discoveries, or experiences while providing little or no commentary. A website for interesting yet random people, where you can express yourself without being judged. You can post whatever you like, whenever you like. Not everyone understands tumblr, so don't worry about idiots from school/work/anywhere to be joining. If blogs are journals, tumblr is a scrapbook. If blogs are journals, tumblr is a scrapbook.

Sad week...

Something shocking and sad happened to my best friend this week, her husband passed away leaving her and her you 8 months daughter. When I found out the news, I was so shocked, sad and cried thinking what will happen to my friend. Only the day before we talked about 'jodoh' how we teased each other how I should learn from her on how to flirt because it took her one year to meet and married her husband.

We talked about if it mean to be each other, it will be quick because my other friend also got boyfriend but still has not tying the knot yet. That was on Tuesday, and on Wednesday morning, I found out that her husband was in hospital, so I just text her for any news then, my friend told me that suddenly her husband passed away...I was so upset but I can't go anywhere because we have a big seminar on that day. I really can't concentrate on the presentation because all I can think off about her and her 8 months daughter. The fact that I have another two of my friends that their husbands died with young children also bothering me.

I know this is Allah's will and it works mysterious ways and I cannot help thinking how hard is it to start all over again. They have been married for 2 years and 3 months and they have plans, they just bought house together and order Proton Preeve and going to Perhentian Island next week, we only can plan, but only Allah knows what will happen.

I knew her husband because practically, me and friends that bring them together. I was suppose to accompany her when she met her ex, and when her ex bring her soon to be husband. I went all the way to Kelantan on 12 hours train ride to attend her wedding. I was one of the friends visiting her after given birth to her daughter and in the office we are neighbour as we sit next to each other. We shared food, gossips, and every report deadline, we will buy one free one San Francisco Coffee. My heart feel for her and I just can't wait until the work hour is over so I can visit her.

Almost the whole office went out to her in-laws to visit her and from what I found out from HR staff that manage to visit her, she has been crying since morning, and still crying when we saw her. When we asked her, she didn't say anything. I guess she just heartbroken. My heart sank for her. I don't know any comfort word that I can say to her and all I can do is just to hold her hand. Her eyes keep looking at her daughter that seems wondering why there are so many people in the house and sometimes she will look at her husband wallet for his photo on their marriage card and license. It just so sad.

Last Saturday, I did visit her again with another bunch of friends. We stayed for almost for hours and she seem quite ok but her eyes well up when she talks about her  deceased husband. She has to start all over again but I know that she can do it because she is a strong and independent woman and mother. She has gone through a lot of things and I know she can do this. She should know that she would not do this alone as I will be there to help her and Allah give her this hardship because He knows that she can handle it. She just need to know she has friend in me that will love and support her and will be there for her. Stay Strong!

Why do people fall in love?

Just read Christina Aguilera, Courtney Cox and even my friends fell out of love. Why some people can fall in love and then fall out of love? Why? where all the love go? Sometime lovers can be bitter enemies can can destroy people around them. Their children, families and friends... There are a number of reasons why people fall in love. Some people fall in love for the right reasons. Others do it out of lack of confidence. They do not want to be alone, which is not a good enough reason.
1. Right reasons
Here, people fall in love because they want to offer someone something good that they have. They want to be with someone not as to depend on him or her but to share their life with them. They have something good to offer and they want something good in return. They want to spend time with someone not because they are scared to be alone but because they enjoy the other person’s company. They are not in the relationship with closed eyes but open eyes. They can see all; the good and bad happening, and they are ignoring the bad because they are scared to be alone, or because they feel embarrassed that it’s happening to them.
Being in love is about giving and receiving what is good. Please, underline the word good. Most people miss this point. A lot of people love the idea of being in love but not the actual fact. If many people understand the real reason of being in love and what being in love is, there would be less divorce, heartbreaks, suicides, violence and anything else that is related to bad breakups or bad relationships.
How can you tell someone you love him or her when you cheating on him or her. How can you tell someone that you love him or her when you can’t even stand the way him or her treats you.
How can you say that you are in love when you always fight? How can you say that you are in love when you don’t have the same goals? He wants to have children and you don’t to have children. The relationship is doomed from the start. You are only together because you don’t want to be alone. You love the idea of being in love but you are not actually living it. You can’t be in love if you are not in love.
The other reason why people fall in love is because people like to be treated nicely. They like to live in a good environment and be with people who know and understand them. In essence love does fulfill this. You can get this kind of environment from your family or friends or strangers but it is not within a time frame. It can end anytime and also family, friends and strangers won’t always have time for you. They have their own lives to live. So as much as they love you, they can’t guarantee that they will always here for you.
A twenty-years old girl can fall in love with a sixty-years old man and vice versa. And it has happened in a lot of cases where people with a big age gap have fallen in love. Anyone can fall in love but not all do it for the right reasons.
2. Wrong reasons
There are a lot of people who fall in love for the wrong reasons and because of this, they can’t be in love. Being in love is a wonderful thing and some people just like the idea of it.
But in order to be in love, you have to be in love with someone. And this is where the trouble arises. Because some people love the idea of being in love so much, they end up falling in love with the first person that is a little bit nice to them. They don’t take their time to know the person. And even if the person shows signs of hurting them in the future, they ignore the signs. They are more concerned about being with someone, than being with someone who really loves and cares about them. It takes a long time to know a really good person but it only takes a short time to know a bad person. A good person is there but you just don’t notice because you are too busy looking everywhere else other than next to you. A bad person is at a far distance, all you have to do is look up and they will come over to you. A lot of people (girls especially) are scared of being alone. Thus they always end up falling for the wrong person because their logic mind is clouded with the desire to be with someone, anybody that shows interest in them. They don’t assess the person. All they care about is that he/she doesn’t come on to strongly. They don’t care about his looks, what he does for a living, his interests and future plans. We are constantly told not to worry about these things; looks, money etc. But if you are going to commit to someone, you will have to do so knowing how, the lack of or having these things will affect your relationship in the future. Most relationships end because people change their minds. For example, they hook up with someone without money and they don’t have money either. It seems good at first with all the love and sex but you have to survive as well. And so when the times get tough, they pull out of the relationship. They can’t handle having no money and this leads to them to do more worrying and struggling than loving and enjoying life.
In another case, someone would go out with a fairly unattractive person because they don’t want to be alone. They ignore the unattractiveness instead of accepting it. The relationship is good at first because of all the adrenaline of being with someone new and the sex offered. Thereafter, the adrenaline goes down and they are forced to look at the person and realize that they can’t handle their unattractiveness and start looking for a way out of the relationship. Any quarrel or opportunity to meet someone else is taken as a reason to breakup.
Most relationships are not over, on the day someone says it’s over, but weeks, months or years in advance. You were just looking for the perfect time to tell someone and also the embarrassment of not being able to honor your commitment, love puts you off from telling that person until you are discovered of cheating on them, or forced to, out of anger during an argument.
People also fall in love to show off. The love the idea of being in love so much and they don'’ want to be left out. They want everyone to see that they can be loved as well.
There are the ones who normally talk about their partner and how much they love them, all the time to their friends. There is a difference between being happy and showing off. To them it’s not just a matter of I have a wonderful partner but, see what he did for me, look at us, observe closely, keep watching, listen. The whole relationship is superficial. It’s a show mostly put up for their friends and anyone in close proximity. This is a relationship that doesn’t involve planning for the future, sharing ideas, growing together. But it’s more of being together for everyone to see that you are not alone.
A lot of young girls fall into this. A lot of young guys love to show off too.
People should realize that there is nothing wrong with being single because it gives you time to make yourself a better person for your partner.
A lot of time is spent and wasted looking for the right person instead of making yourself the right person. Instead of looking for Mr. Right, be Ms. Right, and Mr. Right will find you, and vice versa.
If you want something good, you should be willing to offer something good
We live in a world where we spend a lot of time asking ‘what can you give me?’ rather than asking ‘what will I give you?’
Guess I'm not ready to give something to anyone else yet!
