One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)

Another silly but great video from the boys. It is Simon Cowell's idea for the boys to cover Blondie's One Way or Another and the song is great. The song was cover for British's charity Comic Relief Red Noise Day which will on 15 March this year. Previous artists that have been released singles for this charity such as Gareth Gates' Spirit in the sky (with The Kumars, seriously see the video, it is so funny) and McFlys' It is all about you (seriously great song and video). You can know more about the charity from their official website http://www.comicrelief.com/ and http://www.rednoseday.com/

The music video was recorded during their tour in Japan, USA and when they visited Ghana for the charity and see how the donation can help to support children in Ghana to get medicine and food. By downloading the song from Itunes or buy it legally, it will help to channel the money to the fundraising. There are also will be TV and Radio programmes which include a lot of celebrities to help generate more fund.

Well, I love the video and the boys are silly and you can see Niall's singing in the shower. Zayn as always look so hot and Harry is cheeky as ever.Whoever said the boys are robotic (yes, I mean you Paloma Faith) can suck it! Enjoy!

I really need to start work out again...seriously

Before

Well, I have been missing form gym wow since last year fasting month and never coming back. I think that since the gym is not on the way to my current office, than it seems so hard to go there nowadays. Previously, I will go to the gym before going to work, where I brought my work attire and shower there after finishing whatever I don on that day. The shower was great because they have big shower head that can cover the whole body and the water was hot and refreshing.

Usually when I went to the gym, I just do running or the machine like skiing. I didn't do any physical training because I don't know how to work the machine. They already showed to me but I guess I forgot how to do it, haha. Another thing that I love to do when I'm in gym is to weight myself, before and after workout. The weight doesn't change much but I just want to know if I make any progress. I usually pick fast songs for the workout, yeah my workout songs in the playlist which include Britney Spears' Womenizer to David Guetta's Titanium.

Yeah,  I do paid the fee monthly without fail and it was not cheap, and yeah, I know it is wasting to pay if you are not using the facilities, but I just feel relieved that I have gym membership and I can go there whenever I feel to. I know, I can't work out at home, too much distraction especially my comfy bed. But now I have a very good reason to comeback, I need to get fit for my Europe trip. You know, for all the walking and shopping that I need to do. I need to have energy for all that stuff. Like today, I went to KLCC to watch movie and windows shopping and when I get back, I was sooo tired and fall asleep, I meant that was only for 4 hours and for almost 2 hours I was in cinema sitting and was at food court, eating. Wonders, how am I'm going to walk a lot especially in Fussen and Cotswold, where I pan to do a lot of walking to save budget.

So, tomorrow, I need to pledge to go to the gym already. I pledge to go for at least 2 days a week in the beginning and start to add more sessions later. My goal would be to be fit to walk around and not to mention that I can fit more in new jean that I plan to buy for the trip and look good in the photos later. Wish me luck and all the strength in the world to go to the gym tomorrow.

In the basement pit...

Ok, I learn about the term from "How I Met Your Mother" which is one of my favourite shows. It is about an idea of putting your enemy in the basement pit, the one that you hate down to inside the pit as we torment them  in "Silence of the Lambs" style. Yes, I watched "Silence of the Lambs" when I was little. I just want to know what the hoopla all about. Ok, back to the show, for Ted, it was his Professor Vinick (Peter Gallagher), who proclaimed he will never become an Architect. For Lily and Marshal, it was Wesleyan classmate Creepy Daryl, who has taken to semi stalking them for the last decade. For Robin, it was of course Patrice, for being herself.

I like the one with Ted where the professor said to him that he will never become an architect. So when the GNB that he designed is going to open soon and he sent the professor the invitation card, until the professor rejected the invitation and that get him obsessed and drove back to his old university just to confront the professor. He bought the model of his building to show to the professor but still the professor rejected him. Talking about demotivation. Even Ted is a one of the youngest architect to build a skyscraper in New York but still he needs validation from his old professor. I guess we have someone in our lives that we need to get validation and obsess how is their life. With Facebook, it makes it easier for us to stalk our "enemies"

Of course I have someone that I would like to throw them in pit and to get validation from them but I won't tell who are they. But I'm not sure if somebody would throw me down the pit, because I kind of nice girl haha. But overall, the the idea of the episode is the idea of letting go though. Letting go of those negative thoughts for no reason for as Ted puts it "You can spend a lot of time making a pit for someone in your mind, but the only person in the pit is yourself." By the time we are reaching the end of our young adult lives, we've accumulated a fair amount of relationships. Some of those relationships may be good, and some may be less than good, but in the end, these relationships are what shape who we are. It's when we let those negative relationships define our goals, our goals are no longer our focus. Well said Ted!
