Europe Trip Update Part 7: Luxembourg and on the way to Swiss

Time continue, no time to chit-chat, let the adventures continue....

So I do woke up late and didn't manage to have breakfast, and for the first time in the trip, I didn't take morning shower. Yeah, it is late and cold, very cold. So, we pack our bag and ready to go to Luxembourg. Yeah, I heard Luxembourg before but never dream to go there. I knew nothing much except that it just a small country which rules by Grand Archduke. Mind you it is a develop country where the one of the highest GDP in the world according to the world bank. Yeah, I took Malaysian Economy this semester, it is good to know hehe.

The weather is gloomy and and when we reach the capital city of Luxembourg, Luxembourg City, it starts to rain. Then the Kelana Convoy crew bring us to what they said "the most beautiful balcony in the world". It is beautiful but I'm not sure whether in the world or not but it does take my breath away. From the balcony, we can see Chemin de la Corniche which follows the narrow valley of the Alzette River along the old city walls of the fortifications built by the Spanish and Austrians in the 17th century. Got some buildings and beautiful bridge with river flowing below them.

Then we went to the UNESCO Heritage Site, near the balcony, I guess it is a bridge or something where if you go downstairs, where you need to pay, there is a museum of Luxembourg. More beautiful scenery and we are racing to take photos at the UNESCO sign.  After that,  we went for fridge magnet shopping and when into this store. The owner just shouted one of my friend for taking photos in the shop, quite rude actually. Then I found out from the crew, because they are rich and they are quite snobbish. Some of the souvenir did have the photos of their prince and what would becaome their princess, I guess taken during their engagement or something and he was not so handsome haha...I know, I'm being mean. They speak in French and some do spoke in German language. However, Alhamdulillah, we manage to find halal restaurant to eat for lunch. So I can conclude halal food is everywhere in Europe.

Then we went for a seven hour bus ride to Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland. It was a fun ride and watch some video, from Adam Sandler movie because our bus driver loves his movies. We do stop at the Switzerland border for document chacking. Then we stop at the R&R to pray and have more lunch. It was so touching to see everybody pray on the grass and after that eat one of the most delicious fried meehoon ever. It is like we are having picnic and enjoying ourselves. It is the time to update our facebook wall also as all the R&R offered free Wifi. Love it.

One of the memories that I will not forget is when we in the bus and from afar we can see the mountains covered with snow and it just one of the beautiful scenery I've ever seen. We just can't stop taking photos from inside the bus, front view, left and right view. Yap, leaning to other passengers to get the photo of pass the camera to take photo. Everyone is in awe and ahh about the scenery. Then we came across in the beautiful Lake Bern, it this huge lake with gorgeous scenery.

After a long ride, we arrived in our camp site and it was the most beautiful camp site ever. The background is the mountains covered with snow and we can see around 4 waterfalls surrounding us. For 2 nights, we will be staying in the dorm and it is amazing because from the window, I can see one of the waterfall. I just feel so happy and can't wait to go to the top of the white mountain the next day. Stay tunes and please be patience with the update because I'm going to have final exams next week.
